Basic Piano Tuning & Repair Certificate Program
Introducing a four-week comprehensive program developed for aspiring piano technicians.
About Our Program
This course provides an immersive and progressive learning experience that spans the course of a year. Over four distinct weeks, participants will come to The Center and dedicate five full days to mastering the art of basic piano tuning and repair.
What Sets Our Program Apart
Intensive Learning and Practice: Each week is devoted to in-depth learning, ensuring students absorb fundamental concepts and methods. Practical application is a core element, as students are expected to apply what they learn during independent practice sessions. Our expert instructors are there to guide and assist students in their journey to success.
Progression in Complexity: Our curriculum is designed to gradually advance in complexity as the weeks progress. This approach ensures that students build a strong foundation and then steadily enhance their skills. The goal is to empower our students to produce complete piano tunings in 1.5 hours, a challenging yet essential target in meeting the high demand for skilled piano technicians.
Bridging the Gap: In recognizing the urgent need for proficient piano technicians, our program serves as a bridge, connecting aspiring students with the knowledge and expertise necessary to thrive in this demanding field. The program goes beyond theory, instilling real-world, hands-on capabilities that are immediately applicable.
Exclusive Certification: At the culmination of the four-week program, students will earn a Certificate in Basic Piano Tuning and Repair. This certification validates their dedication and hard work, and is a testament to the training and mentorship provided at The Center. A certificate from the Center for Piano Technology sets our graduates apart as skilled and certified piano tuners ready to excel in the industry.
